Interaction on Understanding REDD and sharing on Youth Climate Movement in Australia

As a part of regular interaction program- Green Discussion, an interaction on the topic “Understanding REDD” and sharing on “Australian Youth Climate Movement” was held on 29th Jan 2010.
Mr. Nagmindra Dahal from NTNC shared his views on REDD and its related issues. He said that the REDD project. He also shared his viewpoints on emerging prospects about REDD and moreover the opportunities and strength of the project and the policies of government of Nepal regarding REDD was also discussed.
Similarly Conor Ashleigh, freelance photographer form Australia shared his photostory about the Australian Youth Climate Movement, their campaigns and non-violent direct action against coal mining and government policies. He also showed some inspiring photos of people from around the world living very sustainably with nature. He also shared his inspiring story on how he is and some of his friends are trying to live sustainably with the environment.
Around 25 participants attended the interaction program on ENPHO Hall.
